Christmas Lights

One of our Christmas traditions is to go to a local neighborhood referred to as "Reindeer Lane" and walk through the streets gazing at all the amazing lights and festive decorations. The people of these neighborhoods really go all out and are so creative in their displays. It's one of my favorite things to do during the holidays and this year it was really special because we took Jalen there for the first time. He was in awe of all the lights and it was hard to keep him from walking onto people's lawns and driveways. He pointed and babbled when he was really excited about a certain house.

This Nativity Scene was magnificent, it was one of my favorite displays.

Jalen started getting tired from all the walking so daddy gave him a piggy back ride for a while

It's hard to see the background but someone set up a Farris wheel on their front lawn, this was Jalen's favorite display. When ever we walked away he would turn around and head back towards it.

"Let's go home daddy, I'm tired"
